چکیده
Pavement recycling is an appropriate technology for constructing and restoring road pavement structures due to the limited supply high cost of materials. This study aims improve recycled mix's performance by replacing fine aggregate in mix with Buton Granular Asphalt (BGA). The percentage material (Reclaimed Pavement/RAP) mixture was 20% 30% weight total mixture. BGA added 3%, 6%, 9% each RAP variation. Mixture obtained through Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS) testing. ITS test results showed that value increased average 4.7–15% compared without BGA. Toughness Index (TI) 3.5–19.8% addition RAP. With 3% BGA, TI tends increase subsequently decrease up levels. result indicated adding mixtures improved could be a solution elasticity fracture resistance Doi: 10.28991/CEJ-2023-09-06-09 Full Text: PDF

Influence of Waxes on Bitumen and Asphalt Concrete Mixture Performance
This doctoral thesis consists of a literature review, presented in two papers, and another six papers describing experimental studies of the influence of different kinds of wax and polyphosporic acid on bitumen and asphalt concrete mixture properties. The literature review should give an extensive description of the field of knowledge concerning wax in bitumen. Effects of wax in crude oil, bitu...

A significant problem associated with asphalt concrete mixtures is the lack of durability resulting from an inadequate asphalt cement content. Additional asphalt cement added to increase durability results in flushing, bleeding and a significant loss In stability. Fibers have been used in stone matrix asphalt and open-graded friction course pavements successfully throughout Europe to allow high...
متن کاملUtilization of Recycled Asphalt Concrete with Warm Mix Asphalt and Cost-Benefit Analysis
The asphalt paving industries are faced with two major problems. These two important challenges are generated with an increase in demand for environmentally friendly paving mixtures and the problem of rapidly rising raw materials. Recycling of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) is a critical necessity to save precious aggregates and reduce the use of costly bitumen. Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA) technol...
